Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Division of Cardiology in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator to serve as Medical Director, Transplant, in a nationally renowned cardiovascular institute and heart failure program. Candidates may be appointed at the rank of Associate or Full Professor. In addition to the medical director role, responsibilities include supporting the inpatient cardiology service and the ambulatory clinic. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, have completed ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure fellowship programs, and hold current board-certification in cardiology and advanced heart failure. Candidates will have experience in clinical trial leadership with a robust bibliography of peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate productivity and the ability to obtain extramural funding support. The successful candidate will be an outstanding clinician and have experience mentoring trainees and junior faculty. Clinician scientists considered for the role will integrate clinical expertise and research within the ongoing work in the Division of Cardiology.
