Job Description Foreman / Superintendent Position Summary: Upstate Companies I, LLC is seeking an experienced Foremen / Superintendents. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Their duties include coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites. Responsibilities: Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation. Coordinate the required labor, supplies, materials and other project requirements. Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline. Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers Create schedules for workers and subcontractors. Schedule and coordinate subcontractors for efficient completion of the project Maintain a daily log for the job site's operations, reporting to management as necessary. Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines. Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient. Ensure Safety requirements are implemented on the jobsite Requirements: Embrace a fast paced and ever-changing environment. Able to work both independently and as a team. Strong communication skills both written and oral Decision making ability. Strong customer service skills with focus on providing solutions. Ability to conduct negotiations with clients, vendors and subcontractors. Firm understanding of building construction processes and tools.
