Position Highlights:

• Position: Diagnostic Imaging Assistant
• Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights
• Part time, 20 hours/week
• Hours: Hours Vary Monday - Friday (7am - 3:30pm), Rotating weekends

General Summary:

Mammography Support Specialist reports to the Mammography Program Manager with accountability to the Facilitator/Lead Technologist. Serves as a resource to staff and other departments for questions and concerns; acts as a second level intermediary in addressing patient issues and complaints. Performs duties to register and appropriately direct patients and/or their representatives; performing a variety of patient scheduling activities required for providing patient services

What you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: One year of customer service work experience or interaction with the public required. Previous experience with healthcare regulatory compliance requirements, and HIPAA privacy requirements required. Knowledge of Medical Termonology Preferred.
