Job Overview

The Associate Clinical Systems Coordinator supports quality assurance and patient access registration best practices as well as reporting, data analysis and process improvement. This position trains in planning, designing, implementing, maintaining and providing ongoing optimization and support for Epic EMR software and other clinical applications while performing entry level, routine tasks.

Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm. Work hours may vary depending on the needs of the department.
*This is a hybrid position.
Qualifications

  • EDUCATION - Bachelor's degree is required.
  • EXPERIENCE - No related experience is required.
  • EQUIVALENCY - Combination of post-high school education, job related certification and/or related experience equivalent to 4 years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
  • Preferred experience with patient access, Epic, registration, quality and training improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be expected to perform.

  • Supports end users and provides primarily Tier 1 support for supported systems.
  • Assists in gathering information for reported incidents and problems.
  • Establishes and maintains robust working relationships with leaders and end-users within designated support area(s), as well as analysts.
  • Assists with new functionality and workflow testing.
  • Trains, assists and conducts business needs assessments, and reviews business structure, policies, and operations to assist in supporting clinical applications.
  • Trains and assists in analyzing business processes and activities and recommends improvements to business processes.
  • Participates in the collaboration with clinical end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements.
  • Assists with the coordination and communication of the development, implementation, and production of integrated technology systems.
  • Assists with creating systems documentation including business process flows (BPF), test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios, end-user documentation and guides and training materials.
  • Documents all work hours in IT Division time tracking system according to established policies.
  • Assumes on-call responsibilities as required.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $61,883.37 to $92,825.05
Hourly Salary Range: $29.75 to $44.63
