If you have experience in leading and overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the corporate and public affairs strategies for a progressive and dynamic company, then this might be the role for you. This role will ensure public relations, reputation management, branding and communication, and industry relations are aligned with the company's overall business objectives. Focusing on increasing awareness of the company's impact across key channels and audiences is at the forefront of this role.

How You'll Contribute to the Team



  • Develop and implement brand architecture and strategy that align with the company's organization model, goals, and objectives.
  • Navigate complex business challenges and lead marketing and communications professionals to deliver measurable results.
  • Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistent and effective communication.
  • Manage corporate communications, including public relations, internal communications, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the company's reputation and brand equity.
  • Leverage understanding of the broader industry landscape, conduct competitive analysis,
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and track industry trends.
  • Analyze market data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and adjust plans, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other executive team members to support overall business strategy and growth.
  • Advise VP Marketing Growth and growth business leads on brand architecture requirements.
  • Monitor the development and investment in growth marketing campaigns for the operating businesses.
  • Oversee the design and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • Oversee stakeholder feedback mechanisms and implement improvements based on insights.
  • Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Monitor expenditures and financial performance against budgetary goals.
  • Lead the recruitment and retention of a diverse team of professionals; create accountability and ownership among team members through communication of clear expectations, supervision, and provision of timely performance feedback.
  • Model the highest standards of business professionalism; lead the training and development of team members through coaching, motivating, and mentoring on company culture, business goals, financial management, and sound business judgment.


Essential Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree and an MBA in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 20+ years progressive experience developing and implementing successful public affairs and communication strategies. Previous experience in the government sector is a plus.
  • 7+ years proven record of accomplishment in a senior leadership role leading high performing teams.
  • Proven experience driving growth and profitability through innovative marketing and brand strategies.
  • Proven experience evolving brand architectures to meet the needs of a growing company.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital marketing and analytics.
  • Executive level presentation skills required. Ability to effectively communicate vision and goals to various stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling way.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to communicate information and ideas with clarity and precision using a variety of channels to deliver engaging content that appeals to multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and drive execution to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Ability to travel.
