Sentara Princess Anne Hospitalis currently hiring a Team Lead for Environmental Services (Housekeeping).

This is afull-timeposition with rotating shift hours.Shift hours will rotate between Evening and Night Shift, from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

In this role, you will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Responsible for maintaining assigned areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition to provide an appropriate environment.
  • Provides direct service, and provides functional supervision to staff.
  • Serves as a resource for Team Members, trains staff; provides staff with work assignments, ensures work is completed and monitors work quality and timeliness.
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement and customer service activities.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Grad or Equivalent/1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School/GED Diploma
  • Two years Environmental Services (housekeeping) experience is required.
  • Required: Communication, Reading Comprehension, Service Orientation, Speaking
  • New employees are required to have CHEST within 2 years of hire.

Job Summary

CHEST certification required for all existing staff by 7/31/2019. New employees hired after 8/1/2016 required to have CHEST within 2 years of hire.

1 year of Housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) - Certification - International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS) Service Associate
