133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 Department: Emerson Cardiology Associates Schedule: Per Diem Shift: Day shift Hours: 8:00-4:30 Job Summary Reporting to the Office Manager and working under the direct supervision of the Cardiologist(s), responsible for ensuring patient preparation and supporting the physician(s) with clinical duties. Minimum Qualifications * Education o High school diploma or equivalent required. o Completion of a Medical Assistant course strongly preferred. * Experience o Two to four years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a Cardiologists office preferred. o Licensure and/or Certification o Certification as a Medical Assistant in Massachusetts preferred but not required. * Skills o EKG experience required. o Ability to take vital signs. o Customer service skills. o Computer skills with EMR/EHR, Meditech, GE Centricity preferred. o Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. o Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person. o Ability to maintain confidential information. | |
