Survey Principal

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity to become an employee owner to initiate, build, and lead a Survey Practice in our Bridgeport, WV location. You'll lead the efforts in identifying opportunities for growing the practice, lead business development efforts, and work with the Operations Lead to structure the group as needed, including interviewing and hiring new staff. You'll work with other practices within the Bridgeport office and other CEC offices to provide an integrated project and client service.

Demonstrated skills relating to technical oversight and project management, including monitoring field and office procedures to assure a high level of consistent work product and service.

Ability and experience to recruit, mentor, and lead the development of a diverse professional staff.

15+ years of professional surveying experience working in a professional office environment
• Professional Land Surveyor license required; West Virginia License preferred
• Knowledge of technological advances, principles, techniques and practices of land surveying
• Extensive experience completing boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA surveys
• Well-versed in the use of GPS, Robotic Total Station, and other survey technology. Must possess a network of existing industry contacts, and have experience with lead generation and development of project opportunities
