LPN (Chemical Detox Rehab), Mon-Fri, 3p-11p, Canaan, CT

FlexStaff is seeking an LPN to work for one of our external clients, an addiction treatment center, located in Norfolk, CT.

This is a permanent, full-time job. Monday-Friday, 3p-11p (5x8hrs).

Salary is prorated.

LPN Level I (no experience) $30-36/hr

LPN Level II (2 + years' experience with detox/behavioral specific) $33-42/hr

In this role you will be responsible for the medical and health related management of clients

Qualifications:

• Current active CT license as a licensed practical nurse
• One-year experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health preferred.
• Experience with both general medical and psychiatric populations

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Completing secondary nursing assessments, administering medications per detox protocols and/or other MD/APRN order
• Monitoring clients daily to ensure a safe and successful detox experience and making proper adjustments as required
• Monitoring for withdrawal symptoms, response to medications, vital signs
• Communicating findings and concerns to MD/APRN
• Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to promote the best care of clients.
