Innovation Intern 2024 | Multiple Locations

As an Innovation Intern at Forvis Mazars, you may be working on the processes and operations that drive the exploration, research, and possible development of new technologies, platforms, customer-facing products, and/or enterprise systems that EDGE, the Innovation Lab of Forvis Mazars is developing.
Innovation Interns are expected to work on a variety of assignments as defined by team leaders, direct supervisors, or other more senior staff and may include but are not limited to attending meetings, providing verbal or written status reports, responding to email requests, discovering and analyzing data, aiding in market research, performing financial analysis, aiding in the creation of presentations, and generally helping with project and operational tasks as assigned. This position requires abilities in the areas of discipline, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
How you will contribute:
  • Apply knowledge gained throughout the educational experience related to communication, market research, competitive intelligence, economics, business analysis, and products/solutions to assist the Innovation Success Team in the creation of valuable research and intelligence documentation, reports, presentations, etc., related to evaluating new ideas, understanding market and competitive landscapes, and analyzing potential market impacts.
  • The Innovation Intern will assist the Research and Intelligence Team in the investigation of industries and service lines of the firm to best understand common problems, competitive landscape, emerging trends, and other useful insights that might spark new ideation opportunities within the industry.
  • The Innovation Intern will assist the Research and Intelligence Team in the investigation of macro topics to best understand the issue landscape, emerging trends, and other useful insights that might spark new ideation opportunities within the firm.
  • Present and share relevant findings of research to appropriate stakeholders in order to facilitate conversations and connect opportunities for possible firm pursuit.
  • Assist Innovation Success leadership in the execution of planned innovation events and initiatives both inside and outside the firm.
  • Assist in the design and creation of campaigns, creative content, materials, presentations, collateral, etc., that help promote innovation and innovation culture within the firm.
We are looking for people with Forward Vision and:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management, writing, editing, proofreading, and organizational skills
  • Effective listening skills and someone who builds quick rapport and nurtures relationships with a diverse audience
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining quality control consciousness and a sharp eye for detail
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a full-time student in an accredited college or university
  • Must have declared a major in an applicable field (business analysis, market research, communications, public relations, marketing, marketing management, entrepreneurship, business, business administration, economics, project management, etc.)
  • Must be a fourth-year college student (80+ credit hours)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • This is an entry-level position; therefore, no experience is required. However, any related experience would be helpful for the role.
