This role will support UHG's enterprise approach to modernize how we connect with customers and consumers. This role is part of an enterprise-wide program to transform the way marketing technology is used across the organization. We are transforming our tech stack, inclusive of core data platform, journey orchestration, and journey analytics. The resource will join the delivery team as a capability manager and is expected to bring proven knowledge and delivery of Adobe Marketing Technology. This position is in support of multiple lines of business to assist with definition, implementation, management and on-going governance of marketing technology products. The team operates in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment, and is looking for a resource to match the dynamic nature of day-today activities and expand the high performing skillset and expertise of the team.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Supports delivery of campaigns via Adobe tools including requirement documentation, content build, journey canvas build, email coding, and testing
  • Spearhead journey builds in Adobe tools, including orchestration, decisioning, personalization, segmentation, channels, event creation, audience creation, and QA testing
  • Provide proven expertise in own workload and act as subject matter expert for other resources
  • Create training materials related to work product including runbooks, knowledge transfer documents, best practice playbook, etc.
  • Work in a self-directed manner across cross-functional teams to deliver journey builds
  • Documents, iterates, and manages capability related artifacts across the full lifecycle
  • Ensures alignment with business stakeholders and works with cross-functional teams to execute
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of marketing automation workflows, including email campaigns, customer segmentation, and personalized messaging

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Adobe Marketing Automation Tools (Adobe Experience Cloud) experience
  • 3+ years of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) experience
  • 3+ years of consumer marketing, marketing automation, and digital marketing experience
  • 3+ years of QA testing experience
  • Proven to be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work with ambiguity and confidentiality
  • Proven excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to perform deskside coaching with less experienced team members
  • Proven ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and projects independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven solid ability to own journey and campaign building within AJO, knowledge of operations and connection points with AEP, building and testing campaigns, audiences, and events in different environments



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certifications: Adobe Certified Expert or Qualified for AJO, AEP
  • Additional Certifications: Agile, Adobe
  • 2+ years working within an agile environment
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
  • Experience with email coding, HTML coding,
  • Proficient in HTML or CSS for building and coding email templates, ensuring compatibility across various email clients and devices, and optimizing for deliverability and engagement in marketing campaigns



Total Compensation. As part of your total compensation package, which includes base, bonus opportunity, PTO and holiday pay, you will also receive these benefits at these rates, not to mention a remote work opportunity and healthy work/life balance.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
