Senior Financial Analyst (Memphis, TN)

This critical role on the Memphis finance team will support S&N's largest Orthopaedic

manufacturing site and directly report to the Memphis site Controller.

What will you be doing?

  • Key business partner supporting the area Operation's Directors and Memphis leadership team.

  • Owner of the Capital reporting activities for the Memphis Orthopedic site.

  • Working closely with the Memphis site operations team to provide insights through data & analytics to drive plant financial performance.

  • Provides financial analysis for Quality, HSE, Maintenance, and other support functions.

  • Drives indirect spending reviews and forecasting, site reporting analysis and planning.

  • Owner of related balance sheet reconciliation(s) and responsible for maintaining effective internal control environment.

  • Support period end close reporting & analysis, along with forecasting & budgeting cycles.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education:

    • B.S or B.A. in Accounting or Finance

    • CPA or CMA, preferred

  • Experience:

    • Required to have 4+ years of financial and or accounting experience in a financial reporting role.

    • Previous SAP experience preferred, including understanding of transaction types and variance calculations

  • Process improvement focused bring new perspective to existing processes.

  • Demonstrated business partnership attitude and experience navigating cross functional environment.

  • Ability to synthesize complex topics and communicate to 'non-finance' site leadership.

  • Physical Demands: Office area

  • Travel Requirements: 0-5%
