The Graduate School of Education, Rutgers University invites applications for Lecturers (formerly Part Time Lecturers) in the department of Educational Theory, Policy and Administration during the Spring 2024 Semester, January 21, 2025 through May 14, 2025.

Successful applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level courses in social and philosophical foundations of education, educational policy, social studies education, and/or educational leadership. Specific courses might include history of education; philosophy of education; gender in education; race, ethnicity and inequality; urban education; sociology of education; public school finance; policy analysis; school leadership; and queer issues in schools, among others.

Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats as well as synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Course appointments are in the New Brunswick area, as well as, hybrid/online format.

Masters Required.
Doctorate Preferred.

Applicants with other degrees from an accredited institution will be considered. Current experience working in P-12 educational setting preferred.
