Overview

NaphCare is hiring Substance Abuse Counselors just like you to join our team at the Middlesex County Jail located in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview. PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Substance Abuse Counselors:

  • Conduct weekly group substance abuse counseling sessions for male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder
  • Provide psychoeducation about substance abuse to male and female inmates with Opioid use Disorder
  • Data collection and data entry


Qualifications

Qualifications for Substance Abuse Counselors:

  • Master's degree required
  • Valid cpr card
