The Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing laboratory testing and procedures in designated areas of the laboratory while receiving direction as needed from team members for the reporting of timely and accurate test results. The Laboratory Technologist within the Precision Diagnostics clinical laboratory will be responsible for supporting clinical genomics testing within a pediatric setting. The successful candidate is expected to effectively support operational testing including nucleic acid extraction, PCR, fragment, sequencing and analysis. The Laboratory Technologist will prepare reagents and/or specimens for testing and process specimens in accordance with the laboratory's standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ability to work in fast pace and dynamic environment with high attention to detail required. Our laboratory testing plays a key role in the detection, diagnosis and treatment of pediatric, adult and prenatal conditions. With state-of-the-art laboratory services, facilities and technologies, we support and guide quality patient care across the pediatric spectrum. Our labs offer a wide range of high-quality lab screenings and diagnostic tests with rapid turnaround times, as well as an unmatched scope and capabilities, including diagnostic tests that aren't available anywhere else in the country. The Laboratory Technologists at each Children's Hospital Colorado lab are specially trained on the intricacies of pediatric laboratory testing, so they can provide the extra level of expertise necessary to help diagnose and treat pediatric illnesses. The Precision Diagnostics specializes in advanced genetic testing for kids and adolescents. Our state-of-the-art lab allows us to process and analyze results quickly, accurately and securely. Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits
Shift: Day, 7:30am-6pm, 4-10's. Rotating Sundays and occasional holiday coverage. Schedule is either Sunday - Wednesday or Wednesday - Saturday. Qualifications

Salary Information Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $59,514.35 to $89,271.53Hourly Salary Range: $28.61 to $42.92 Benefits Information Here, you matter.
