Summary: We are looking for a Software Engineer position on the Application and Data Services team. In this position, the software engineer will work with University College staff to be their technical resource for the Destiny One Continuing Education application. This developer will be responsible for supporting and upgrading the application, including working with the support staff to configure the application per user/faculty requests in setting up continuing education classes. The software engineer is also responsible for integrations to the Banner ERP application, to Identity Management, R25, the classroom scheduler, international systems and Canvas, the learning management system. In addition, the software engineer will be responsible for using Microsoft tools to assist with streamlining workflows for the Continuing Education office and using Power BI for reporting. The developer will need to have the ability to take a functional requirement and translate this into a solution by interfacing with other team members as well as interfacing with the Database Administrators and possibly other developers within Information Technology Services. This position requires that the person have a strong understanding of Product Management and using SQL/Reporting Tools. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of directly related IT experience. Knowledge of SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks, and Power BI. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities:
