JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Dr. Reyes' Lab in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Penn State is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented full-time Human Research Technologist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in research projects related to food choice and early childhood nutrition in community-based settings, especially rural communities. Current and emergent projects in the lab focus on examining the role of social networks in dietary behavior, food environments, food acquisition patterns in rural communities, and health communication strategies with an emphasis on community engagement in rural communities. We are an interdisciplinary lab and apply mixed qualitative and quantitative methods, with a growing interest in social network analysis. We encourage candidates from diverse academic backgrounds to apply, and being bilingual in Spanish is a highly valued asset. The Human Research Technologist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of research and lab activities. These activities include developing research protocols and assuring implemented procedures adhere to approved protocols, recruitment, data collection, analysis, and outputs in the form of reports and presentations.
