  • Full Time/Part Time:Full Time, Days, Rotating Hours, Floating Hours- 8:00-4:30/8:30-5:00

  • Required Travel:Traveling to other NorthShore sites when needed- Highland Park Hospital and occasionally Glenbrook Hospital
  • What you will need:

  • License:Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
  • Education:Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
  • Certification:BLS/CPR required, BMTCN/OCN/ONS certs preferred

  • Experience:Minimum 1-year Oncology experience required
  • Skills:N/A
  • What you will do:

  • Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients
  • Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
  • Prepare patients for procedures and monitor their condition periodically
  • Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
  • Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Collaborate with assigned physician to facilitate effective clinic operations
  • Coordinate communications with patient and provider including symptom management
  • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
