- Own and uplevel our design process from brief to commercialization
What you will do...
- Drive the creative strategy & design vision for all brands across Campbell's Snacks, with a focus on packaging design
- Drive thought leadership in brand design and packaging design, identifying and interpreting trends and assessing competitive, consumer, and customer activities impacting design
- Own and execute a disciplined and consistent design process from brief through commercialization, inclusive of print production and budget management
- Establish strong partnerships with external agencies and production partners to lead us to effective work and pursue continuous improvement
- Build & nurture high caliber talent within the department - motivating, mentoring, training, and developing direct reports
- Enhance cross-functional partnerships & define better ways of working to improve organizational effectiveness
- Reinforce processes & protocols that bring discipline and consistency to package design, print production and asset management within the organization
Who will you work with...
- Lead a team of 4 - 3 Design Managers and 1 Design Operations Manager
- Integrated Marketing Team, including Consumer Engagement, Social Media, and PR
- Broader Marketing team, including Brand, Consumer Insights, Innovation, and the Marketing Leadership Team
What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10+ years of deep brand design experience, with a focus on packaging design.
- Balance of strong design strategy and flawless execution
- Inspiring and effective team leadership
- Extensive experience crafting brand & design strategies and visual guidelines
- Experience building and executing effective processes to enable exceptional design
- Passionate design advocate with extraordinary design taste.
- Diverse portfolio of skills and experience, including depth of knowledge in artwork production and pre-press, photography and graphic design principles & processes
- Effective influencer of senior management as well as cross-functional business partners
It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)
- Experience in CPG brand design.
- Both agency and in-house brand experience
Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $153,400-$220,600
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
