About this Location Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is a 193-bed, acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. Scope of work The NMT performs both imaging and non-imaging procedures on patients and/or patient samples using radioactive tracers. The NMT is responsible for the safe and correct handling of radioactive materials, the care and operation of radiation detection equipment, knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures, the appropriate computer analysis to generate a patient result, and patient care. A NMT uses specific age and culture-related physical, intellectual psychosocial and developmental attributes in assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care.
