Job Description

Opportunity at a Glance

The Senior Consumer Insights Analyst is a critical partner in providing critical insights on the student experience across all institutions. Areas of research include, but are not limited to: NPS (Net Promotor Score), New & Current Student surveys, Prospective Student surveys, and UX (user experience) research targeted to students across institutions as well as Competitive Intelligence and Market Intelligence analyses, and Qualitative research initiatives for gathering student feedback such as focus groups and student forum moderation. Critical skills required for this position include: Project Management, Analytical Thinking, Creativity, Problem-Solving, Teamwork, and Communication. This position reports to the Director, Consumer Insights.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all quantitative and qualitative research reporting processes including, but not limited to: Questionnaire Development, Survey Programming, Survey Launching/Fielding/Closing and Data Collection, Data Management and Processing, Sampling Strategy, Troubleshooting, Analysis planning and writing, and Presentation of results to key business partners and stakeholders.
  • Works closely with the customer excellence, marketing, operational, and academic teams within all institutions to administer quantitative and qualitative research based on their schedules.
  • Responsible for managing questionnaire changes and programming surveys deployed via the Qualtrics platform.
  • Builds strong relationship/manages 3rd party vendors responsible for advanced survey programming and analytics.
  • Responsible for all processes related to launching surveys and collecting data.
  • Resolves student respondent issues in a timely manner during survey field period.
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving data input and output issues.
  • Conducts all the processes related to closing the surveys (data cleaning, data quality control, and uploading the final dataset into reporting tools such as Tableau).
  • Drives process improvement; thinks quickly and addresses any survey or data collection and reporting issues with business partners in a timely manner.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years' experiencedoingmarket research and/or consumer insights related experience with full ownership of research project lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Experience with data management.
  • Experience presenting research results to executives, senior leaders, and colleagues across an organization.
  • Experience with both Quantitative and Qualitative research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in survey programming in Qualtrics and Survey Monkey.
  • Experience using Tableau, Looker, and/or PowerBI preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer service and teamwork skills required.
  • Experience in the Higher Education and/or Healthcare industries are a plus.

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61720.78 and $111584.97. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
